*In 2018, LOV-E-IS-RARE emerged quite spontaneously from the collaboration between Jörg Blumenstein and Fay Lazariotis. Jörg Blumenstein produced instrumental tracks which moved somewhere between spy urban soul, downtempo, jungle, deep house and trip hop. Fay Lazariotis refined the tracks with her warm voice and romantic lyrics.

This collaboration led to an EP ("Sally e.p.") and various beautiful, soulful live performances within a very short period of time.

In the meantime, LOV-E-IS-RARE became Jörg Blumenstein's solo project, as Fay made her way into the film and television industry. Unfortunate, but however, it did not lead to Blumenstein standing still. His creativity continued to flow, and uncountable ideas emerged. The single "Afternoon Tea" is the first result of his solo-work. But Blumenstein does not stand alone, he gained strong female support. The singer Charlotte Vogel (Our Oak) gave the song the required strength. The mixture of her light voice and the gloomy instrumental is a perfect fit.

“Afternoon Tea” is the first release from Blumensteins upcoming album which carries the same title. It will be released in early summer on the new, leipzig resident label DRAN.
